Cassiopeia mains reddit12/11/2022 ![]() ![]() When you're laning against a Champion with little or zero mobility like Vladimir or Malzahar I would wait until Level 4 before taking a point in Miasma. If you feel as though your Jungler will gank early, or you're able to deny the lane opponent some form of mobility, such as LeBlanc, Diana or Fizz, I would definitely recommend it - it's usually a great pick against Assassins. Leveling up Miasma at Level 3 is entirely situational. Be cautious though, as it has a high mana cost during early levels, so only use it unless you know you will hit the ability. If you have taken Ignite, it will also create kill pressure in lane. Picking up Noxious Blast at Level 2 will compliment the damage from Twin Fang during an extended trade. ![]() It's worth noting that Twin Fang has a significantly faster animation allowing you to get in and out without standing still for too long. Taking Twin Fang at Level 1 is great for securing minions in a tough matchup that you may not have the time to auto-attack. Paired with Noxious Blast and DoT from Liandry's Anguish, Ignite helps to compliment this damage.ĮXHAUST: Very rarely will I take this Summoner, unless I'm against an AD assassin and an AD Jungler, or my Bot Lane didn't take Exhaust for some reason - Qiyana, Zed, Yone and Yasuo are viable options for Exhaust but otherwise I would opt for one of the others mentioned above. It's incredibly strong and makes solo kills more likely during the early laning phase once you have stacked Conqueror. IGNITE: I use Ignite in matchups I feel confident I can get an early kill, otherwise I'll opt for Barrier or Teleport. TELEPORT: In higher elo matches Teleport will prove to be more useful as you're playing more objectively - into matchups where you're being outranged or you feel as though the laning phase will be slow / focused on farm, this is a great option to influence sidelanes and snowball your teammates. In some cases, Cleanse for laning phase only isn't worthwhile, so I would only recommend taking this if the enemy team has more than one form of hard CC. It enables you to make riskier plays and test limits further.ĬLEANSE: This is a situational summoner spell to take, dependent on who you're playing against and who the Jungler is. Flash enables Cassiopeia to have insane outplay potential and so you should always take this summoner.īARRIER: As mentioned before, Barrier synergises really well with Last Stand and allows Cassiopeia to stay in a fight for longer. Using Flash + Petrifying Gaze can make the difference between winning a game or not, or closing the gap between yourself and a Xerath or Vel'Koz trying to channel their ultimate in lane. Autoing also saves mana because you're damaging without spending mana.FLASH: This is your core summoner spell and should never change. You can only E more if your enemy is moving out of range or you have CDR. I don't think considering how a rune is overall is a good thing to do, but to answer your question, Conqueror is overall better below Plat, and they're about the same in Plat+ with a shift toward Conqueror for non mains and a shift toward Phase Rush for mains.Įarly game, the auto is while your E is on CD. ![]() Phase Rush helps a lot against long ranged champs/slows. You can E right after your auto to make it really easy to last hit, but you should really practice last hitting with at least E alone and probably auto'ing alone too.īoth can be used against anything, but until you have the experience for that, you should really consider matchups. Once you learn her kit, you can do a lot more. Yes, play like a DPS ADC that has AoE utility. The problem is she sets up ganks very well, so you should use Barrier or Cleanse and usually freeze pushing works if you're not in danger of a gank since she's only able to waveclear with her W or R. You out trade her if you land your poison and weave autos early. If not, your goal is usually to scale for teamfights. If played well enough, she should only be slightly behind at worst. You should usually focus on laning and preventing/countering enemy roams though. She's strong at roaming if she's able to reach her enemies and at least even in lane so that she isn't punished for roaming. Everything else is extremely situational, but similar logic to other midlane mages. You shouldn't be poking aggressively unless you have a good matchup, know your limits, or are limit testing.įocus on CS'ing and wave management. The pinned guides answer your questions in depth, but I can give direct answers. ![]()
